President Harry S. Truman had a sign on his desk that said, “The buck stops here.” In his farewell address he said, “No one else can do the deciding for him. That’s his job.”
This doesn’t seem to apply to Gov. Rick Scott regarding the Department of Children & Families, where more than 500 children have died under its care and the Department of Corrections where several, suspicious deaths have occurred.
Nothing happened until the Miami Herald reported both of these stories. Why hasn’t anyone been charged? Is Scott passing the buck?
