Rename it ‘Irving Pincus’
A Miami Beach commissioner has advocated renaming Arthur Godfrey Road because of his alleged irrelevance to today’s young and hip crowd.
Not finding anyone else worthy of such a Miami Beach honor, I propose the thoroughfare be renamed in honor of Irving Pincus, legendary Beach boulevardier as characteristic of the town as the Caballero de París was of Havana in the 1950s and 1960s.
