Grateful for LeBron

Arlene Ross’ negative letter about LeBron James, Heat holdout, is so out of place. James has given more for charity in this community than most people will probably give in their lifetimes. He has also given more thrills to my grandkids and kids all over this country than athletes could probably provide in 10 lifetimes.

Miami should be grateful that he has been part of our community for the past four years, whether he remains with the Heat or decides to move to another community that will provide him and his family additional security and funds for him to give to the less fortunate. I wish him and his family good health and happiness regardless of what he decides to do. I hope he decides to stay. But I admire him just the same.
