Accept Medicaid funds

Thanks to the Florida Senate, and especially Sen. Rene Garcia, for taking the fight and plight of Medicaid expansion to the people of Florida. What is so riveting is that 20 percent of Florida’s population lives below the poverty line.

The governor’s argument doesn’t hold water; the tax money coming back is our money, and if it lasts 10 years, great, if not we go to Plan B. Either way, Florida residents, including children and seniors below Medicare age, will benefit.

Gov. Scott provides mega incentives for corporations that then contribute to the political cause. Well, poor Floridians are people, too. I guess they fail the campaign-contribution requirement.
