Pizzi should stand down
Is Michael Pizzi genuinely concerned for the well-being of Miami Lakes and its residents?
If so, he would immediately stop his efforts to be reinstated as mayor. In 2016, he can stand for election and, therefore, stop bleeding the town by forcing the expenditure of legal fees.
Pizzi’s integrity was impugned when he was arrested and charged by the FBI, which resulted in a legal, binding election for the remainder of the mayoral term.
It was not a temporary election. Yet, he insists on punishing the very community he seeks to lead. Sounds like a bad loser and a bully to me.
His ego, financial needs, ambitions and self-serving actions are in direct conflict with the well-being and future of Miami Lakes.
