Accept Medicaid money
Republican State Rep. Richard Corcoran, chair of the House Appropriations Committee, refuses to accept and implement Medicaid expansion. Because of his unyielding position, Florida will lose $2.2 billion in federal money for hospitals that treat low-income patients.
So what is Corcoran saying to the 800,000 Floridians who would benefit by Medicaid expansion? That they should do Florida a favor and just die!
