Is Menendez indictment payback?
The skeptic in me wonders if U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez’s current dilemma could have been avoided. He is not the first, nor will he be the last, politician to accept questionable and expensive gifts.
However, many before him have had their cases swept under the rug.
Is the indictment the price he pays for having been the lone ranger among the Democrats who spoke out and was highly critical of President Obama’s unilateral actions to normalize relations with Cuba?
