Iran a destabilizing force
Re the April 4 article Some in Israel question Netanyahu’s strategy: The proposed deal with Iran isn’t a good one as long as its leaders call for the destruction of Israel.
Wouldn’t diplomats from the P5 + 1 countries negotiating this deal also object if their countries were being targeted for destruction by Iran? Its tentacles have reached across the Middle East. It sponsors terrorism in Iraq, Yemen and Syria. It arms radical groups that border Israel such as Hezbollah in Lebanon. Iranian forces in Syria are close to the border with Israel by the Golan Heights. It supports Hamas in Gaza.
How can Iran join the family of nations while maintaining the destructive and radical ideology that it has repeatedly exhibited? It is such a destabilizing force in the Middle East that even neighboring Arab countries are rallying against it.
