Baseball fan’s opening-day trials
What a disaster. No parking unless prepaid. Traffic a total mess. Few police. It was 4:40 p.m., and after paying $10 to park at the Criminal Court lot, the shuttle took us on a tour of Jackson hospital. We approached the stadium in heavy rain. The drop-off better be real close, I thought. Maybe we’ll be there for the seventh-inning stretch. It was my first game and last game all on one day. Never again.
If they build a soccer stadium near this location someone needs his head examined.
