Building moratorium

There's no Us vs Them in the driver/biker conversation. I bike. I drive.

Sometimes, I drive to the place I want to bike. At some point, I bike to my car so I can drive some more. I even walk. Three or four mornings a week I pedal east on Miller Road among the most thoughtful drivers in the county. They allow plenty of room. We sometimes chat at the interminable light at Red Road. Nice folks and a nice way to start the day.

Regardless of the means — car, bus, truck, bike, motorcycle — we're all using the same stretches of asphalt with the same intent — to get somewhere in pretty much the same condition we left in. We can't do that without cooperation.
