Republican enough?

In a July 27 letter to the editor, writer Lois Jones complained that Sens. Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski weren’t Republican enough.

Apparently she is unaware that senators and representatives are elected to serve their constituents, state and country, not their party.

That kind of blind loyalty is what you find in autocratic governments.

I applaud them for standing up for what they believe is right and what their constituents are telling them.
