Letters to the Editor

Fair and balanced

After reading the Miami Herald’s recent opinion pages. There were two letters and an article on how terrible President Trump is, three articles on how the Democrats need to change their game to win the next election, and an article on how the Republicans are trying to repeal Obamacare and replace it with their own.

Where are the competing points of view? Where is the discussion on what the Republicans need to do to fix their act other than lose to Democrats?

Where is the discussion of how and why the Republicans designed their healthcare plan they way they did — without the vitriol, just the facts — to allow us to make an informed decision?

Full disclosure: I did not vote for, nor do I particularly like Trump, but perpetuating the “us vs. them” mentality is what got us into this mess.
