McCain’s medical bill
I wish Sen. John McCain a full recovery from his blood-clot surgery.
It would be fascinating to learn the cost of that surgery for people who fall into various groups: members of Congress, people with employer-based insurance, people on an ACA plan, Medicare, or Medicaid; and people who, under Republican proposals, the CBO expects would be priced out of an ACA plan, dropped from Medicaid, or who choose a limited-benefits plan.
