I do not like to see the occasional tasteless joke made by most extemporaneous comedians, such as Bill Maher and Stephen Colbert, compared to the vicious, barbaric, and frightening image of Kathy Griffin holding a bloody, severed head.
This was definitely not comedy, but something that should have been censored, at least from prime-time viewing.
I hope Griffin will never be given a public forum on national television again. I will never be able to look at her, with or without makeup, laughing or crying, without remembering.
