Isn’t it nice that patriotic Russian hackers are following John F. Kennedy’s advice: “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country,” along with others who “volunteered” to fight in the Crimea.
What may come out of the Russian investigation may be just a case of stupidity, greed or incompetence, not criminal. But for an administration that says it is a victim of a witch hunt, they are acting like they have something to hide.
Jared Kushner’s explanation differing from the Russian’s for a meeting; Kushner and Jeff Sessions not reporting meetings with Russians; Michael Flynn lying about his talks with the Russians; President Trump asking then-FBI Director James Comey to stop the Russian investigation.
This could be a silver lining for Trump in that if it does not rise to a level of criminality, he will then use it as the excuse for his legislative failure.
