Congress should do its job

In government class in high school, we were taught that the executive branch enforces the law, the legislative branch made the laws, and the judicial branch interpreted the law, in accordance with the Constitution.

However, over the last eight years the executive branch has decided to make the laws, the judicial branch has made and enforced the laws, and the legislative branch, that is, the Senate and House, have conducted investigations and gone on TV to report on the investigations.

It is time for lawmakers to return to their job of actually making laws.

Obamacare has been a failure from Day One, so pass a law to fix it. Income taxes have been too complicated for too many years, so reform them.
