Hurricane strength?
Re the May 30 letter, “Eyesore bridge,” regarding the chosen Interstate 395 bridge design.
No one has mentioned which design would hold up to a hurricane. The huge, clunky, metal panels (spider legs), or the thin, airy cables of the second design?
Shouldn’t this be a consideration?
