No to megamall
Miami-Dade’s mayor and commissioners are being shortsighted in considering allowing the American Dream Miami.
It will draw important tourist dollars away from existing malls and the emerging high-end retail area in the Design District. Tourists are likely to go the megamall to satisfy their curiosity and for their children, but won’t spend the dollars normally spent in other malls.
We were just making progress on developing a vibrant downtown Miami. Stop this foolishness.
