Gaudy bridge design

The design selected for the Interstate 395 bridge redo at Biscayne Boulevard is in such bad taste. It’s overdone, gaudy, or, as one would say in Yiddish, ungapatchka.

And the design that came in second is so elegant. We must work to get the second design instead of the tasteless one imposed on us.

Let’s find a way of revisiting this selection process.
