Eliminate snakes

Are Burmese or other pythons still for sale? Why the were ever sold or bought I cannot understand. I suppose we must wait until a child is killed and swallowed by one of these monsters for people to raise a hue and cry to rid our state of these terrible pests.

I am happy to see the South Florida Water Management District offering snake catchers money for them dead or alive. It is far better to eliminate these invasive snakes than to kill native black bears by political decree as was done during the past year.

The Everglades has enough problems caused by mankind and does not need this added unnecessary burden caused by vendors hungry for profits and stupid people who buy these things, then carelessly discard them into wild land. That’s where they dominate native animal populations and propagate without predators. How silly we are sometimes.
