NFL players

I read with great distress about the effects of CTE on our 1972 Dolphin team. It is inconceivable that the Dolphin organization, and the NFL, did not step up to support these players who gave so much for the success of the game overall.

That a player’s son should have to quit college to take care of his ailing father, while the NFL and the Dolphins rake in significant amounts of money, is abhorrent at best, and disgusting to all of us who have been Dolphin fans since that memorable 1972 season.

I agree with Nick Buoniconti that the NFL and the Dolphin organization can and should do more for the players that were affected by this prior to their knowledge of the dangers they were facing.
