Illegal restaurant
Miami Herald reporter David Smiley’s May 5 article on Watson Island, “Did Flagstone Island Gardens just break ground? Or break its lease?” raises a serious question.
If the state shuts down the restaurant for violations, what will it do to Flagstone for filing a false application and operating an illegal restaurant for a year?
I have eaten there and enjoyed the view, but I would rather see them punished so that I can be sure the state is protecting us by insisting all restaurants follow the law — especially health laws.
