Syrian supper
Re the May 6 article “Syrian refugees will cook for you and tell their stories at a monthly supper club:” What a beautiful way to help these refugees, both financially and culturally!
They now know they are welcome in this country and the guests have personal insight into their journeys away from terror and chaos into safety. (And a new appreciation for their cuisine!)
I hope that ideas like this will take root across our country, with people reaching out to help and support new neighbors and reassuring them of our good will.
