Letters to the Editor

Time to recall?

There are many U.S. Representatives who voted on the ACA Repeal and Replacement Bill without reading it. Some have admitted this publicly.

This is akin to a dereliction of duty, and they should be recalled immediately. Imagine a private sector employee signing a contract for their company without reading it? They would be fired immediately!

Members of Congress have truly lost sight of their responsibilities as elected officials, and are more concerned with “Party” and the significant campaign contributions they receive, rather than what their constituents want.

It’s time for real representation by these elected officials. Otherwise, we need to start a recall effort to let them know that they, in fact, are elected to represent us, not corporate or political party interests.
