Head Start thanks

As a proud member of the Head Start community, I have seen firsthand the transformative effects of the Head Start Advantage.

Le Jardin Community Center provides educational opportunities for the most disadvantaged children and creates jobs in the community. It is always heartening when others recognize the valuable impact of Head Start as U.S. Rep. Carlos Curbelo recently did, when he signed on to a bipartisan letter in support of funding in the 2018 budget.

Curbelo made his district’s most vulnerable children and families a top priority by letting the Appropriations Committee know just how important Head Start is, and for that, the entire Head Start community thanks him.
