Zoo’s not cheap

I am a member of Zoo Miami and visit often. As I walked around the zoo recently, I noticed that for a family of four, the admission cost (assuming they rent a pedal bike to get around) would come to more than $105.

If they want to take advantage of a new ride in the new attraction, that would be extra. If they want to ride the older monorail, that would be extra.

And, of course, if they wanted a snack, that would cost, as well.

It struck me that a zoo visit might be too costly for a family earning the median income in Miami-Dade.
