Forgotten logistics
Was the second largest economic driving force in South Florida omitted by the May 1 article “Miami’s business community matures?”
There would be far fewer lawyers and bankers without the growth of trade and transportation during the past five decades.
Having worked on the boards of World Trade Center, Beacon Council and several chambers, I have seen the west side of Miami’s trade and transportation business largely ignored by the media.
Little has changed in this regard the past 50 years.
