Saving lives

On April 11, there was an excellent letter published in the Miami Herald, “Another warning.”

The writer suggested that when police pull over motorists for some reason, the driver should turn off the vehicle’s ignition.

If a law were passed for police to say, “Keys, license and registration,” more lives — police and motorists — would be saved.
