Wild animal exhibits

The March 6 edition of the Herald had two very different stories about animal welfare. One story, For circus, an earth-shaking shift, explained that the Ringling Brothers circus is removing elephants from shows, freeing these magnificent creatures of travel stress..

On the other hand, the Mega mall may come to Dade, story shows that a sea-lion exhibit is part of the master plan. If this mall comes to pass, I hope the sea-lion feature is removed. It’s time for businesses to stop using wild animals for human entertainment.

The best place for a wild animal is in the wild.
