Struggling to get by

Ironic and strange, isn’t it, that funding can be found to renovate or build extra stadiums, supermarkets, etc., but none to continue daytime showers and feedings for the homeless who visit Camillus shelters. Nor are there funds to pay decent wages to the six out 10 people struggling to make ends meet in Miami-Dade County.

As the saying goes, “Something is wrong with this picture.”
