Mayor Philip Levine’s tirade

Shame on Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine for stirring up mob rule in order to quash property rights. What people forget is that the right to sell short-term rentals on Miami Beach is allowed in a great majority of the city, as shown on its own website.

In fact, many apartment buildings in those districts have a vested constitutional right to sell short-term rentals, given reasonable restrictions, and thus are beyond the reach of majority rule.
