Comply with the law
Good for Mayor Carlos Gimenez and the Miami-Dade county commissioners who voted not to release criminal immigrants from our jails, but rather comply with federal directives. This ensures that federal funds Miami-Dade is due to receive for transportation projects, among others, will remain forthcoming. The transportation funds will benefit our community, including hardworking immigrants.
