And so we find the Marlins are up for sale. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing remains to be seen. But what is certain is the county was stuck with a bad contract.
Many relentlessly assured us that attendance would soar once a stadium was built. County residents should demand that the contract be renegotiated. Now is the time, as a community, to push back. Demand a better deal or stall the economic transition.
