Silent church
As a Catholic who is also an immigrant, I can’t believe that the Archbishop Thomas Wenski hasn’t come out openly in defense immigrants, condemning the the Trump administration’s measures against refugees and immigrants. The Archdiocese of Miami has such a large number of immigrants hoping for their cases to be heard.
I have read letters of protest from church leaders all over the United States, but nothing has been heard from the pulpits of our archdiocese.
