Tone it down

I am appalled at the number of negative articles about shootings and murders that the Herald prints daily.

On Jan. 18, for instance, the first five pages all had such content which I, for one, do not care to read. I realize the world has come to this, but does the paper have to make headlines constantly about it? The media, unfortunately, including TV and movies, are just propelling more of the crime mentality. Isn’t it time for a change, please?
