Gables traffic

Living in Coral Gables and seeing its beauty has been a pleasure for many years. But both have been impaired by the lines of cars backed up at so many intersections in the city. Pedestrians are also at risk.

What causes this? The interminable length of the traffic lights.

Is there any reason for 12 or more cars to have to wait to cross the intersections? When cars block the intersections, it prevents the flow of traffic. Can’t something be done to restore the joy of being a Gables resident?
