ACA worries

As a board certified internist, I am sure the consequences of repealing the Affordable Care Act will result in genocide of 3.5 million Americans. Hepatitis C, a preexisting condition, afflicts 4.4 million Americans, of which 80 percent do not have the ability to clear the virus and need antiviral drugs such as Harvoni.

Untreated, Hep C leads to terminal cancer and/or cirrhosis, which be fatal because of bleeding or infection. This is information aobut which hte public is not well informed. Every effort should be made to keep the ACA as a lifesaving law.

It is a sorry state of affairs when politicians like Donald Trump will lie about anything to get elected and then pick a cabinet that will lead to the destruction of our country, atmospher, and oceans.

Picking Rick Perry as energy secretary is tantamount to having a child molester as a kindergarten teacher.
