Pitts’ impact
I have been reading the Miami Herald for more than 65 years. In that span of time, some memorable writings have remained with me. One such article was Edwin Pope’s walk through Britain instead of flying home after covering Wimbledon.
But I have to say that every column that Leonard Pitts writes affects me personally like no other columnist anywhere. Truth, poignancy, humor and satire are composed to make an impact. And they do!
