Kudos to Padrón

I am overjoyed to hear that President Obama will recognize Miami Dade College President Eduardo Padrón with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

I can think of no one more deserving. Dr. Padrón has dedicated his life to improving access to education for millions of students, in South Florida and around the world.

Because of his work ethic, passion and commitment, generations of students have had the chance to go to college and eventually find great jobs that contribute to the advancement of our communities.

Thank you, Dr. Padrón, for all you do for our community.
