Trump the wrong person
For more than a year and a half we have been bombarded with Trump’s rants, tantrums, and erratic behavior on the campaign trail. We have seen his tweets, his thin skin and his inability to let any perceived insult go. Yet, today we are hearing that because he has contained himself and has behaved for almost a week, he has finally shown his true temperament and we should ignore the last year and a half, along with his 70 years of life, and put him in the White House. I recognize we have a short attention span, but as President Obama is known to say, “Come on.”
A person’s true color should not be measured by how well he can act for a few weeks, but rather by the totality of his action throughout his life. I will not list all of Trump’s sins as they are legion, but it is important to note that even the new, controlled Trump rhetoric is still proving to be inaccurate, to say the least.
The stakes are too high to ignore the facts. He is as he was and always will be, the wrong person to be president.
