Solar ‘in-justices’

The Herald rightly recommended voting against proposed Amendment 1 — Consumers for Smart Solar — recognizing it for what it is: a Trojan horse against consumers and a gift to the utilities to maintain control over solar energy.

But voters should go further. Also on the ballot are three Florida Supreme Court justices who are seeking re-election, namely Justices Canady, Labarga and Polston. All three voted to approve the Consumers for Smart Solar ballot language knowing full well that it is confusing to understand. If you ever needed a reason to vote against these three justices, now you have it.
