Too much Matthew hype
I live in Southwest Miami, and once again the media bombarded us all week long about Hurricane Matthew’s imminent danger. They urged us to run and buy shutters, plywood and supplies that will last us for a few weeks.
The fatalistic predictions of local channels made us fear for the worst. This damages business, especially small ones, and every other aspect of our lives. It is irresponsible.
