Media’s failure
As the founders did not craft the First Amendment to facilitate advertising sales, the press has shirked its constitutional duty to inform the public.
Reporters who claim to not be “truth squads,” or who don't know the difference, are ceding the election to the candidate whom they cover the most.
If this continues, we may — to paraphrase Ronald Reagan — “Look back on this time to remember what it was like when [people] were free.”
