Media unaware

In speeches last week, Donald Trump said when he’s president, if Iranian boats made gestures toward American warships, they would be blown out of the water (media silence), and Hillary Clinton disparaged 50 percent of Trump's supporters (media uproar). This is an example of what has happened in the presidential campaign: The media, occasionally, seem unaware of what matters most.

On the issue of character — honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness — the notion that these two candidates are cut from the same cloth is a fantasy; anyone who is remotely conversant with the records of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump knows this.
