Candidates’ spouses
I have a question: Would Barack Obama have been elected president if his wife had posed almost naked in a magazine, plagiarized Laura Bush’s speeches and claimed to have a degree that she did not?
Until now, such a combination of offenses committed by a spouse would have offered a supreme challenge to the candidacy of any presidential hopeful.
