Let Johnson in

We have two popular ex-governors running for president and vice-president as Libertarians, Gary Johnson and Bill Weld.

They served as Republicans in Democratic states and were re-elected in a landslide. They brought fiscal responsibility and social freedom polices that made their states better.

In a time when more than 50 percent of Americans dislike Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, it’s really disheartening to see how the media, the polls and the very private Commission on Presidential Debates denies them a spot on the debate stage.

Johnson is the only candidate who not only is on the ballot on all 50 states, he is the only candidate who has a proven record as a leader with a plan most Americans agree with.

He was a border state governor, and I’m sure Latinos would love to hear about Johnson’s simplified immigration plan that beats that of Clinton and Trump.

Can the Miami Herald, at least, acknowledge this censorship and demand that the establishment let Gary Johnson debate? Other prominent newspapers already have taken this step.
