For 36 years, Republican politicians, Malcolm Forbes, Rupert Murdoch, and media empires like Fox News, have promised that cutting taxes for the rich will benefit America's underclass.
The result? The greatest disparity in wealth and income in history. In 2016, Donald Trump promises that if elected he’ll cut his estate taxes by $4 billion and his other taxes by billions — to benefit the average American. The seminal question is whether voters will buy this snake oil one more time.
