Flood subsidies

Thank God the Herald has advocated continuing the subsidy for flood insurance for all those who live on waterfront property so that it won’t only be rich people living on Biscayne Bay or the Atlantic.

Little talked about are the ocean front residents of Palm Beach and Gables Estates in 15,000 square foot homes who struggle month to month waiting for their Food Stamp allotments.

Now some want to pile on by making them pay their fair share of flood insurance. For shame!
