9/11 player protest

I am appalled, disgusted and totally taken aback by certain professional football players not standing for National Anthem on the day that we need to remember all of those innocents that died on 09/11.

I can understand their dislike for the police, but cannot comprehend their snubbing of the others that died on that day who were in no way part of their of their protest.

I have lost respect for them, but can still respect them as professional football players. They have the right to protest, but it should not have been done on this very sorrowful and solemn day in history.
