‘Me, me’ society

Some conservatives are already talking about impeaching Hillary Clinton before she is even in office. So much for the democratic process of free elections.

Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, says that Congress will “stare down any president that wants to defy the will of the people and we’re not going to be swayed by public criticism.”

Does Rep. King not realize that the election of Hillary Clinton would be the will of the people, just as the election of President Obama was the will of the people?

It’s people like King who defy the will of the people.

It’s too bad that some of our politicians care only about the will of themselves. We are living in a ‘me, me’ society and most vote for the candidate who claims he/she will give them what they want, regardless of what is best for the country.
